When the soul lies down in the grass, the world is too full to talk about.
Ideas, language, even the phrase
each other doesn't make any sense.

Your Intentions in my Backpack

Greetings!

I am a social creature with quite a varied background.  I share my abilities through my work as a massage therapist, writer, and mentor to children in unique learning environments.  On their journey of well being, I am able to act as a bridge for my clients by helping them remember the power they inherently possess.

As a child, the woods and meadows of my aunt’s backyard were where I went to escape life’s challenges.  It was there that I discovered a place of magic and healing, a place to explore and immerse myself in the beauty of nature.  A place to discover my true self.

Since those days, Nature has remained close to me as mother and friend.  In her lakes, woods, and mountains is where I find answers to my questions.  In her presence is where I seek serenity.  In her grand beauty is where I learn generosity and appreciation.  Here, I am free to be myself.

In addition to local trails, there are many places I dream of hiking . . . and will hike:  the Lake District, Ireland, Iceland, New Zealand, Alaska . . . the list goes on.  But, for now, I’m focusing on fulfilling my dream to “through hike” the entire 2,176 miles of the Appalachian Trail.  This is to be a meditative hike, and I will carry the intentions of many people – including yours, if you let me.

If you have an intention for anyone, including yourself, you may choose to sponsor me on my hikes, and I will set forth with your intention and tell you about my inspirations, insights, and revelations on the journey.  When you’re out, immersed in the woods, all messages (the message) become clear.  On my return from each of these hikes and via this blog, I will share with you my poetry, descriptions, and experiences that I've gathered on the trail.  That is the soul purpose of this blog: to bring to you, through words, the peace and comfort I find as I carry your intentions.

Will you join me on my journey?
